The Victims of Crime Commissioner is doing an online survey with people who are victims of crime to understand their experiences with:
- victim support services
- the police
- the court process.
The Commissioner will not share your information with anyone, including federal, state or local governments, service providers or the private sector.
A report with summarised findings and analysis will be published and made publicly available.
Your information will be collected and managed according to:
- Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014
- Health Records Act 2001
- Public Records Act 1973.
When you’re doing the survey, remember not to write anything that identifies you, including any names. Because it’s an anonymous survey, we can’t give you a record of what you said, because we won’t know which responses are yours.
We’ll collect and store your responses on Microsoft SharePoint - a secure, encrypted platform.
