Accountability
Agencies operating within the justice system are required to follow the Victims' Charter. They must treat victims and their families with respect, provide relevant information and explain how the system works.
The Commissioner acts as a watchdog, reviewing agencies against the Victims' Charter requirements and reporting her findings to Parliament.
